Event Details

After the success of last year, we're bringing it back - models, jelly and wrestling.

This time, it's all for Help for Heroes, an incredible organisation that does amazing work for our boys and girls who give up so much. This is a really worthwhile cause and the only question you need to ask yourself is "How can I donate money?"

Well, step 1: buy a ticket for the jelly wrestling event. Step 2: get involved in the auction on the night and get yourself an exclusive prize. Step 3: spend loads of money on the night with the Hero Helper girls and get involved in the auction...

Still got some doubts? Check out our page on Facebook, which has a few photos from last year.

The details:

Friday 20th November at 19:00

Octoberfest Pub, Fulham

Tickets:

The first 30 people to buy get tickets for £20, everyone after that pays £25. If you want guaranteed ringside seats and a reserved area between bouts, you can attain VIP status for just £100.

See you there.

FAQs

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets should be bought through this site, which uses PayPal to handle payments.

How much are they?

The ticket price is £20 or £25 (first come first served), with a small transaction fee of £1.15 or £1.27 that gets added for using this site and PayPal. VIP tickets are £100, with a transaction fee of £3.15.

Where does the money go?

The admin fee is collected by Eventbrite and they use it to cover their costs, including using PayPal. The core ticket price goes to cover the costs of the event and the proceeds go to the charity, Help for Heroes. The costs (venue, models, jelly and so on) are around 10% of the standard ticket price.

Is there another way to pay?

Hopefully PayPal will make it easy for you to purchase a ticket. If you are having problems, or have some objection to using PayPal, then please contact us and we'll see if there's something we can do.

I've got an awesome auction prize I'd like to donate, what should I do?

Let us know! Last year we had everything from hospitality at rugby games through to tennis lessons with Andy Murray's coach. We'd love to offer something even more exciting this year. If you can donate something, please get in touch.

Who is organising this?

The genii behind the event are those that brought you last year's event: Liz Goodall, Bryony Martin and Richard Lawrence, with technical support from Michael Spragg. None of us are making any money out of this!

Why Help for Heroes?

We all know people who have committed themselves to serving our country so that we can carry on with our lives and do fun stuff like jelly wrestling. Help for Heroes is a terrific organisation that does amazing work to help those heroes who are injured in the line of duty. Quite frankly this is the least we could do.

When do I get my ticket?

Once you've completed payment, you will be emailed a ticket (from Punters Productions). Simply print and bring it along on the night.

Where can I go for more info?

Go to our Facebook page, where you can get in touch with us. Or send us an email via the contact link.

Can I have a refund?

No! Unless the event gets cancelled, we can't offer a refund.
